Poker Production has again exceeded itself by bringing up a new twist in their NBC show Poker after Dark. The show will features in their newest episode a new theme called Railbird Heaven wherein poker players will be going to play high stakes poker in a span of two weeks.
Poker after Dark has gathered some of the most celebrated live game players in the poker record, and also the man that has been performing well in the online poker arena. They will be place in a very unusual cash game where they had to buy in a minimum of $100,000 and must not exceed $250,000.
Poker’s best Phil Ivey, fresh from the WSOP main event, will be involved in the said gathering with other known poker names such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Patrick Antonius and Gus Hansen to name a few.
One player that everyone should watch for would be online poker professional Tom Dwan who has been transitioning well from passive to live play of poker. In this television show he will be up against the cream of the crop of the poker world.
The episodes in this live poker show, Poker after Dark will feature unusual bets by these top players. If they start to get tired, I’m sure some prop bets will waken things up. In the past episodes the group played a hand blind and Daniel Negreanu proclaimed that it will be better off if they play that way once every hour and then Ivey suggested to play it every couple of minutes.
This particular poker show is aired at NBC every night a 2:05 AM. A director’s cut clip will be shown every Saturday at the same tome to show the best plays of the week and more. The prop bets made by these amazing players have raise the interest of viewers and it is really a show recommended for poker enthusiasts.
