Taking the hot spot this august is the 2010 Canadian Open Poker Championships. For this season, the COPC will feature high turnouts. Set to open on August 19 up to 29 and it will wrap up a total of 13 events. The COPC would be the biggest series of poker tournaments recorded in the Canadian history.
During the event, there will be a $5,000 heads up main event. Poker pros as well as celebrities are expected to come during the tournament among them id the 2010 World Series of Poker bracelet winner Gavin Smith along with him is the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event final qualifier Matt Jarvis. He is competing for the grand prize worth $8,944,138 in the November tournament for the WSOP.
